The relationship between the photographer and the subject is what makes a good photograph, whether this be a landscape or a person it is how well you know that landscape and how well you know the person that brings out the best in both, this would be the same for an artist working in oils or a photographer working in digital.
For me, I create my art with the digital camera and by getting the relationship right and knowing how to use the tools of my trade the ability to see and create a photograph.
